Daekuen CHOI (DK Tché) is a beauty industry executive and product innovation specialist with extensive experience across Korea, France, China, and other global beauty markets. A former Art Director at COSMAX, one of the world’s leading cosmetics ODM companies, he has worked at the intersection of cosmetic product development, formulation concepts, packaging, consumer insights, and brand strategy. 

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with global beauty groups and brands, including projects related to L’Oréal and LVMH brands, and has advised beauty companies on product and market development across Asia and Europe. He is currently Founder & CEO of ClayCO Inc. and founder of the Korean hair-care brand NEJOO, where he leads product innovation, brand strategy, and international expansion.

Judith Fiedler brings over 20 years of leadership experience at the intersection of formulation, packaging and regulation, helping brands turn regulatory complexity into innovation and competitive advantage. She is the Founder and Managing Director of oneRD GmbH, a Swiss-based consultancy delivering end-to end support from concept to compliant, market-ready products. 

Previously, she spent more than a decade as Global Head of Product Development at La Prairie, shaping some of the most advanced skincare innovations in the luxury segment Through oneRD, Judith supports beauty and personal care brands in navigating evolving frameworks such as PPWR, Omnibus and global regulatory requirements, while accelerating development, strengthening sustainability strategies and enabling differentiation on shelf. Her approach bridges R&D, regulatory, packaging and supply chain execution, ensuring compliance becomes a driver, not a barrier, to innovation. Her work today combines strategic foresight with hands-on execution translating regulation into real-world solutions.
 

I am a medical doctor and beauty strategist whose work connects clinical science, product innovation and commercial brand building. I hold a Medical Degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and a Master of Public Health from Harvard, with Postgraduate qualifications in both Surgery and General Practice. During my ten years in Hospital Medicine and General Practice, I gained extensive experience assessing and managing a host of conditions, including common dermatological conditions. This grounding in skin health, alongside clinical research, evidence appraisal and quality improvement, informs my approach to evaluating skincare ingredients, product safety, efficacy claims and scientific credibility. I subsequently worked in healthcare leadership, with UCL Partners, before transitioning into beauty retail and brand strategy in Kenya. As founder of Kashi Digital Beauty, I support the sourcing, launch and growth of modern beauty brands across the Middle East, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. My product development focus includes translating consumer needs into product briefs, reviewing ingredients and claims, and guiding hero-product selection, positioning and manufacturer partnerships.Working closely with SuperCosmetics and wider beauty retail in Kenya, I can combine medical knowledge with practical insight into consumer needs and market readiness. My current interests include private label development and science-led innovations for sensitive skin

I lead the Microbiology Innovation Lab. at L’Oréal R&I, where I drive the scientific advancements that define the future of beauty. With a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from ENS Paris Saclay, France and postdoctoral training at the Pasteur Institute, France, I leverage my expertise in Microbiology, Biochemistry, transcriptomics and NGS to bridge

the gap between complex microbiology/microbiome research and high-performance commercial formulations. I am a translational leader dedicated to navigating the intersection of microbiology and biochemistry to deliver impactful, science-backed results in a global collaborative environment.

Stella Ndekile is a Nigerian cosmetic scientist, medical aesthetician, and Founder and CEO of Nuban Beauty and Nuban Cares. With a background in medical laboratory science, she combines scientific knowledge, hands-on aesthetic practice, and beauty entrepreneurship to guide product development and address the needs of melanin-rich skin. Her work spans colour cosmetics and targeted skincare, with particular interests in acne, hyperpigmentation, skin barrier repair, and formulation performance. Through both brands, she champions beauty innovation informed by science and the needs of African consumers.

Eisuke Takai, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist at the MIRAI Technology Institute, Shiseido Co., Ltd. He is a leading expert in skincare science, specializing in facial aging mechanisms and the development of advanced anti-sagging technologies for Shiseido’s prestige brands. Dr. Takai joined Shiseido in 2014 and served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Cutaneous Biology Research Center (CBRC),

Harvard Medical School / Massachusetts General Hospital from 2016 to 2017. His research in skincare innovation has been widely recognized, earning a IFSCC award in 2025.
