Claudia Campani brings a wealth of knowledge to the world of beauty, with over 20 years experience in colour cosmetics development and packaging sourcing. Her career blossomed at Kiko Milano in Italy, before moving to sunny Australia. She currently lends her expertise to Mecca, one of the most prominent beauty retailers. Claudia is deeply passionate about creating beauty products that people love all over the world.
 

Gabby is a highly accomplished executive with over 18 years of experience in the Asia Pacific region. She has recently been appointed as the Global Markets President of Florasis 花西子, a leading Chinese beauty brand, where she is responsible for bringing the brand to the international market.
With her deep understanding of consumer insights, strategic acumen, and ability to forge key partnerships, Gabby is well-positioned to drive Florasis 花西子's growth in the highly competitive global beauty market.
Prior to joining Florasis 花西子, Gabby held the position of Head of Beauty in China for the Lane Crawford Group, where she was responsible for the company's China Beauty Department. During her tenure, Gabby led the charge in expanding the brand's footprint across China, driving significant growth and profitability.
Before her role at Lane Crawford, Gabby founded Mood Editing Cosmetics, a joint venture with NetEase, one of China's leading internet technology companies. She successfully introduced the trendy fashion brand KENDALL+KYLIE to the Asia-Pacific region, becoming the sole distributor for the Kardashian family's brand.
Aside from her corporate career, Gabby is also a passionate entrepreneur and investor. She is the founder of Janes & Hooch, a renowned speakeasy bar in Beijing that has been recognized as one of the world's top 50 bars. Gabby is also involved in the Mercedes ME Beijing F&B management project and is an angel investor in Alesca Life, an agricultural technology company that builds indoor, vertical farms and farm management software to make food production more efficient and environmentally friendly.

In her role as Head of Product Innovation at full-service manufacturer THG LABS, Kristal’s influence is best demonstrated by dedication to Innovation with Purpose. A champion for the integration of advanced biotechnology and sustainable formulation, together with an insightful grip on emergent global trends, ensures NPD for brands remain at the cutting-edge of beauty innovation while meeting the multifaceted needs of today's consumers.

Shannon is the Lead R&D Formulation Chemist at Greenleaf Cosmetics South Africa, an exclusive contract manufacturer for Woolworths’ private-label beauty range. With over five years of experience in skincare, body care, and hair care development, she leads projects from product ideation through to packaging and product education, with a strong focus on sustainability and customer experience.
Her passion lies in product innovation, particularly in nanotechnology delivery systems and the use of African indigenous plants with unique bioactive properties that offer remarkable benefits when incorporated into high-performance formulations. She finds the greatest reward in creating results-driven products that help women look and feel their best.
Previously, Shannon worked at SKOON. Skincare, a natural, science-led brand, where she championed the launch of the award-winning Nanopillow Serum range—a waterless delivery system developed with electrospinning nanotechnology to enhance the targeted absorption of active ingredients. The SKOON. B3 Barrier Boost Nanopower Duo, part of this range, won “Most Innovative Formula” for the Women & Home Holy Grail Beauty Awards in 2023.
She holds a BSc in Chemistry and Biochemistry, along with a Postgraduate Honours degree in Formulation Science from Nelson Mandela University.

Aya Isam is the Supply Chain Manager at Favelin, with over two years of experience in product development and supply chain management within the beauty industry, specializing in hair and body care products.
Aiming to solve complex challenges and manufacture products that compete globally, she has successfully led the launch of more than 15 innovative products. Aya collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and external research partners to optimize product development, sourcing, and production processes, driving efficiency and consumer satisfaction.
Her expertise lies in managing the full product lifecycle from R&D ideation to market launch with a strong focus on innovation and operational excellence. Aya’s commitment to pushing boundaries positions her as a key contributor to Favelin’s rapid growth and competitive edge in the beauty market
 

With over 20 years of experience in global product development and marketing in 3-axis category, Katsura Kozu has strong expertise in creating a true innovation from scratch and bring it to the market. Starting from consumer and market research, concept and story creation, formula and package development, campaign planning and execution – all can be possible by her passionate character, collaboration skills and professionalism. The most recent accomplishment is SHISEIDO RevitalEssence Skin Glow Foundation, where she took the lead of the project as PD, seeing huge success especially in Japan and APAC, with 62 awards worldwide since its launch. 
Katsura also has experience working in Paris for Parfum Issey Miyake, and in New York for SHISEIDO which has enriched her vision and creativity, 
Currently as Global Product Development Director of brand SHISEIDO, she plays more strategic role by overseeing entire brand from product point of view, and leads the brand mid-and long-term strategy planning, portfolio management and operations. 
 

Rabih Madi is the Chief Operating Officer at Madi International, a leading beauty distributor and brand-building group in the Middle East. Founded in 1991, the company represents over 50 global beauty brands and suppliers, including Wella, Goldwell, Kevin Murphy, K18, OPI, and Thalgo, as well as other brands from multiple categories, with operations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain. Rabih drives the group’s strategy and leads strategic initiatives and digital transformations, harmonizing operations across sales, finance, supply chain, and more, to enhance organizational efficiency.

Mr. Dipin Kamal Passi a Harvard Business School (2021) alumnus and the Joint Managing Director at Lotus Herbals (P) Ltd. . Coming from a family which has spent more than 4 decades in the Indian cosmetic industry, Dipin was always looking to modernize various facets of the business including manufacturing and operations. 

Graduating as a BBA from Thames Valley University, U.K in 1999, he joined the Lotus group as Vice-President, heading Sales & Marketing division wherein he was instrumental building a strong retail presence for the BRAND and got to know the real pulse of the Indian market and its versatility. With his management ability and intuitive leadership skills, his father Mr. H.J.Kamal Passi endorsed him to pursue his master’s degree in management from the US. He graduated with an MBA in Management from Johnson & Wales University, Providence, RI with a GPA of 3.8 (EXCELLENT).

Mr.Dipin re-joined Lotus Herbals as Director International Trade and Operations in December, 2001. With his in-depth knowledge and practical approach, he made remarkable contributions in product developments and international product launches in more than 17 countries. 

As part of the company’s expansion strategy in the Ayurvedic Personal Care, Mr. Dipin was instrumental in acquisition of Vedicare Ayurveda Pvt Ltd. (known for its brand SOULTREE) in Aug, 2020.  Through this acquisition Lotus plans to enter many new international markets catching on to the growing polularity of Ayurveda. In September, 2021 the company (Lotus) under the joint leadership of Mr. Dipin Kamal PASSI and Mr. Nitin PASSI, made a fresh equity acquisition in Dermoceutical company Fixderma with 32% stake to enter the fast growing dermatology segment.

Apart from his leadership role in Lotus Herbals Pvt Ltd, Mr. Dipin is also a Director in Vedicare Ayurveda Pvt, Ltd., Managing Partner in Lotus Herbals Colour Cosmetics, Kanidi Biotch LLP and Evershine Garments LLP. 

Being a member of FICCI’s Consumer Industry Panel (Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Mr. Dipin is involved in various policy matters for the trade body (FICCI) and actively provides his valuable inputs for Indian Government’s policy making. FICCI’s consumer panel was instrumental in helping the Indian Government in developing and tabling The Cosumer Protection Bill in July 2019. The same FICCI panel was also a key driver in helping the GST Council of India to fine tune the revolutionary GST Bill in 2017. 

As a part of Mr. Dipin’s commitment to the country and its people, he is actively involved in various Social Welfare NGO’s such as Dhukh Bhanjan Trust (support the poor for their medical treatments), Sawhney Foundation (old age home), Little India Foundation (committed towards feeding the poor kids). Mr.Dipin is also a part of various investment and mentoring and incubation programmes  through Investment Committes like Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), AGBI and VeritasX. These are primarly into startup funding to support and mentor budding entrepreneurs.
 

Ms. Rong PEI, since 2013 to Present is responsible for market research & product development, selecting quality suppliers for product development, product launch, etc. worked for Fan beauty diary, Proya (SMU brand), Yangshengtang and Kolmar.

Jesse Porto is a senior brand leader with over two decades of experience driving global growth and brand transformation across beauty, health, and wellness. As Vice President, Global Marketing for Algenist, he also led portfolio marketing for JVN Hair and Pipette following their acquisition under private equity firm Windsong Global. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at The Estée Lauder Companies, including Estée Lauder, Clinique, and Tom Ford Beauty, as well as at Coty, Revlon, and Johnson & Johnson. Known for uniting brand storytelling with commercial strategy, Jesse builds high-performance teams and consumer insight–led, category-defining global brands.

Alison Postma is a journalist for BW Confidential, the Paris-based business-to-business publication on the international beauty industry. BW Confidential provides news and in-depth market analysis and commentary for beauty executives across the globe in print and digital formats. Alison has over eight years’ experience as a writer, and has previously written for news, travel, art and education publications

Pravesh has more than 17+ years of intensive experience having worked in a variety of FMCG categories across a variety of geographies & brands.
In his current capacity, he is leading the growth journey of Wella Company - a 140+ year old company founded in Germany – for the South Asia markets. He is responsible for the extensive 300+ people operations and owns the end to end P&L and organization strategy for the next 5 years. As the General Manager, a multitude of functional leaders (Sales, Marketing, Digital, Supply Chain, Finance, HR) report into him.
Pravesh has a rich experience in building fit to perform organizations having set up the international operations for an Indian FMCG company based out of Dubai in a previous assignment and then led the entire transformation journey for Wella India.
His key skills include Customer Management, Brand Management, Organization structure design, Blitzscaling, Fit to market product development and building, managing & leading high performing teams.
He is a firm believer in the India growth story and an even stronger believer in the power of people. His business mantra is “there will always be work that needs to be organized, things that need to be managed but people can only be inspired & encouraged”.
He lives in Mumbai with his textile designer wife and a beautiful puppy – both of whom have him wrapped around their fingers. His personal passions are board game design, global travel and esoteric reading.

Jeet has over  20 years of experience in a range of marketing roles in Unilever, spanning diverse categories and markets across the global including India, China, US and South-East Asia. Over her career at Unilever, she has worked on global brands like Comfort, Pepsodent, Signal, Closeup, Vaseline and Love Beauty & Planet. 
In her present role on Vaseline, she leads the rapidly growing platform of Vaseline Gluta-Hya to deliver business growth and world class unmissable marketing campaigns. Her work has won the Cannes Glass Lion Grand Prix (the first for Singapore), Unilever’s first-ever D&AD Yellow Pencil, Golds at the International ANDY Awards and Grand Prix at Spikes Asia to name a few.
 

Sinéad Whyte is a seasoned New Product Development (NPD) professional with a strong scientific foundation and extensive experience driving product innovation within the skincare and cosmetics industries. She holds a First-Class Honours BSc in Pharmacology from University College Dublin (UCD).
Throughout her career, Sinéad has contributed to globally recognised brands including Oriflame Cosmetics, Bulldog Skincare, and FACEGYM, combining creativity with scientific and regulatory rigour. With deep expertise in formulation, regulatory compliance, cosmetovigilance, and global product development, she bridges the gap between innovation and execution.
