Theresa, a PhD biochemist with over 35 years of experience in corporate skin care research, has held key R&D senior roles for companies including LVMH, Unilever, Marks & Spencer, J&J, Evonik, Hill-Top Research, and proDERM. In 2008, she created Callaghan Consulting International, focusing on cosmetic claims development with brands and ingredient suppliers. She is a widely published author, frequent speaker, and contributor to peer-reviewed journals. Her acclaimed book, 'Help! I'm Covered in Adjectives: Cosmetic Claims & The Consumer', has gained popularity. She is a member of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists and British Herbal Medicine Association, and has lectured at the University of Sunderland's School of Pharmacy and Cosmetic Sciences. Theresa serves on the editorial peer review board of the International Journal of Cosmetic Science. She also mentors; advises TKS Science Publisher; and writes monthly for BEAUTYSTREAMS Ingredient Pulse; and has her own Cosmetic Claims Insights Column with EuroCosmetics.

Claudia Campani brings a wealth of knowledge to the world of beauty, with over 20 years experience in colour cosmetics development and packaging sourcing. Her career blossomed at Kiko Milano in Italy, before moving to sunny Australia. She currently lends her expertise to Mecca, one of the most prominent beauty retailers. Claudia is deeply passionate about creating beauty products that people love all over the world.

Thierry de Baschmakoff is a visionary creative with more than 35 years of expertise. He has left an indelible mark on the industry, crafting some of the most iconic perfume bottles, beauty packaging, and luxury accessories. His portfolio boasts bestselling designs, including the elegant gold and sapphire blue exteriors for Dior Addict fragrance and lip products, timeless Bvlgari timepieces, and the exquisite perfume bottles for Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert. His artistry also graces golden Guerlain powder compacts and Cartier eyewear. In 1985, he founded the Aesthete agency in Paris, where his innovative designs have flourished. With a remarkable portfolio of over 6,000 design objects, de Baschmakoff continues to redefine creativity in the industry.

Da Jeong Kim is a beauty buyer at Lotte Department Store, the largest department store in South Korea and has close to 10 years of experinece in the beauty & retail industry. 

She is specializing in creating marketing strategy and plans, and mega events & promotions that can reach to many customers.

She is a messenger that delivers the value of beauty brands to end consumers, and co-works with various brands and leads the luxury beauty industry in Korea. 

With over 15 years of international experience in the beauty industry – B2B and media side -, starting with Cosmoprof, and continued with MakeUp in shows and then Premium Beauty News. Eva is now helping beauty brand marketers to develop better products with sustainability at the core thanks to the re-sources.co platform and consulting services.  Eva is always scouting the latest sustainable trends and innovations from brands and suppliers, developing content, supporting beauty professionals to make informed decisions, and building stronger portfolios and better “sustainable” marketing claims.

Amanda Lim is a multimedia journalist specialising in beauty and personal care insights in Asia Pacific. She has helmed CosmeticsDesign Asia as its editor since 2018. Over the years, she has developed and launched feature, video, and podcast series to drive the title forward and better serve the cosmetics industry.

Ms. Janet Sarah Neo is L’Oreal’s first appointed Chief Sustainability Officer, North Asia and China to lead sustainability leadership and business transformation for the world’s fastest growth region in beauty. She is an Asia pioneer with 20 years sustainability and ESG impact investment expertise in government, FMCG and Tech in Silicon Valley and Alibaba Lazada. Post Paris Agreement, Janet headed international strategy 2030 for over 35 member states in low carbon economy transition at the Global Green Growth Institute chaired by former UN Chief Ban Ki-moon. She is a board director of Temasek Foundation sustainability fund since 2018. Janet holds a bachelor in Economics and Sociology from National University of Singapore, University Scholars Program. She has a minor in Technology Entrepreneurship from Stanford University, and Sustainable Business Strategies from Harvard Business School.

In Michael’s role as SVP Creative Director, he combines innovative thinking, business acumen and an in-depth knowledge of the beauty industry to collaboratively forecast short and long term trends and lead the artistic direction of BEAUTYSTREAMS’ content. He oversees a team of over 200 international experts to understand macro and consumer trends on a global scale and translate their findings into inspiration for product development, marketing and strategy for companies worldwide. Michael also leads BEAUTYSTREAMS’ Bespoke Division which delivers tailored trend analyses to global companies such as L’Oréal, Estée Lauder, Unilever and many more. With nearly 20 years experience in fashion and beauty, Michael is a true trend authority, regularly speaking at events and trade shows worldwide and providing commentary and thought leadership in international trade and consumer publications.

American beauty expert, Lauren O’Connell, is the Beauty Editor for Cosmopolitan Middle East magazine and a science geek. Or geek chic as she likes to say. Lauren has a Bachelor of Science in bio-mechanical engineering, a Master of Science in nursing, and a memorable way with words. She combined her passions for beauty, wellness, and science to create skincare and makeup ingredients-focused content with a cosmic twist for her social media platforms and website, planetlauren.com.
Lauren frequently interviews celebrities and beauty brand founders, including Huda Kattan, Mario Dedivanovic, Jo Malone, and Charlotte Tilbury. She moderated the fireside chat at the Futr World summit in Abu Dhabi between Michael Ward, CEO of Harrods, and Kerem Atasoy, Vice President of Farfetch. She’s also hosted panels and events for Beautyworld Middle East, Cosmoprof, Cosmopolitan Middle East, The Retail Summit, and The Sustainable City Equestrian Show. 
After the success of Lauren’s Instagram Live series, Cosmic Chats with Lauren O’Connell, she’s in the process of launching her podcast, Planet Lauren, where she interviews influential people in the beauty, holistic health, and wellness industries about anything and everything under the sun. She has 10 years of extensive experience and knowledge of the retail sector in South Africa with key competencies in the commercial and technical areas of business, having held various roles across the two areas within leading retailer Woolworths Holdings .Mishkah expresses her passion for packaging by currently actively leading the innovation process for Beauty personal, cosmetics and Homeware private brands packaging design .Her commitment to the industry and Brand is to always add Value to the product and for the consumer!

CEO of Martha Tilaar Group, one of the largest natural beauty companies in Indonesia. Galib previously worked from London in Corporate Finance (1998 to 2005) and Sub-Saharan Africa (2005 to 2018).  He is a Fellow of the Securities Institute, has a Master of Finance & Investment (with Distinction), a Master of Philosophy in Emerging Market Finance and BSc in Business Administration.  He is passionate about the opportunities in Sub-Saharan Africa to create lasting impact.

Zhuo (Joe) Wang, Global Partner (China) of BEAUTYSTREAMS. He is also the Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship for China Association of Fragrance Flavour and Cosmetic Industries. He was the former CEO of Shanghai Jahwa United Co., Ltd.(the largest Chinese beauty company) and former chairman of the board of Herborist Cosmetics Co.(Jahwa’s fully-owned subsidiary). Prior to Jahwa, he had a stint on Gartner in the US. He is a highly-sought-after speaker for business forums and a top-notch teacher for leading business schools in China and abroad. He was the only Chinese speaker at the Beauty CEO Summit in Florida in 2012 as well as the World Perfumery Congress in France in 2010. He has published a number of business and management books in China and translated from English to Chinese over 20 books in marketing, management, and sociology. He is a columnist for a number of leading business magazines in China. He holds an MBA degree from St. John’s University (New York) and a BA degree in Journalism from Fudan University (Shanghai).
