Mechano-Longevity Eye Cream

An eye formula – composed of expression peptides, palmitoyl tripeptide-5, and eight forms of hyaluronate – is delivered via a 630 nm red light and 80 Hz microcurrent applicator to improve skin elasticity and density. The concept is conceived around the idea that blinking – which occurs around 20 times per minute – has an effect on the thin facial skin around the eye. Within the formula, expression-line peptides lower the contraction amplitude around the eye; palmitoyl tripeptide-5 with a collagen-peptide complex supports the dermal matrix that gives skin its tension; and the device’s photobiomodulation and defined-frequency stimulation address the loss of fibroblast tension that lies behind collagen degradation. In tests on 32 adults with sensitive skin over 28 days, the device and cream together improved elasticity by 43.8%, dermal density by 30.2%, and cut skin age as determined by a VISIA device by 3.1 years, with no adverse reactions.

Design: 33 enrolled, 32 completers (28 women, 4 men, 26–59 years, mean 46.5), all with self-assessed sensitive skin (questionnaire >18) and crow’s-feet grade 2–5. Single application was assessed split-face, treated versus untreated side, at 5 minutes and 12 hours; continuous use was assessed before–after at Day 14 and Day 28 with the applicator used two minutes per eye, morning and evening. Structural resilience (Day 14 / Day 28 versus baseline): elasticity R2 +31.3% / +43.8% (0.48 to 0.69); firmness F4 improved 31.0% / 41.1%; ultrasound dermal density +21.9% / +30.2%; upper-eyelid lift angle +5.1% at Day 28. 2. Eye-contour geometry (Antera 3D, Day 28): crow’s-feet wrinkle count −40.6% and volume −39.7%; under-eye wrinkle volume −43.9%; eye-bag volume −31.1%; tear-trough volume −50.4%. 3. Longevity, hydration and evenness (Day 28): VISIA-estimated skin age 44.8 to 41.7 years (−3.1 years); stratum-corneum hydration +45.5%; melanin index −16.7%; redness a* −17.5%; gloss +33.8%. Immediate effect, 5 minutes after one application, treated side (untreated side unchanged, n.s.): elasticity R2 +20.8%, firmness F4 improved 20.7%, hydration +91.5%, crow’s-feet count −20.5%, eye-bag volume −10.8%. Tolerance and compliance: 0 of 32 subjects showed any adverse reaction at four dermatologist visits; 100% rated the product mild and suitable for sensitive skin at Day 14 and Day 28; 32 of 32 completers used the system as scheduled (usage diary and product weighing). The applicator’s 630 nm red light and 80 Hz microcurrent were active in every application, so every result above describes the complete system — cream, light and current used together for two minutes per eye.

Morning and evening, after cleansing: dot the cream around each eye. Hold the applicator so the metal head rests on the skin; it starts on contact. Glide from the inner corner outward for two minutes per eye, eyes closed, without pressing on the eyelid. Optional: two minutes per side on the nasolabial folds. Wipe the head after use. Not for use with implanted electronic devices, during pregnancy or on damaged skin; stop if discomfort occurs.

The electronic applicator head is designed for continued use, while only the cream cartridge is replaced. Refill cartridges are already in production. This refill system reduces the need to discard the electronic head with every empty cream cartridge, helping to reduce plastic and electronic waste compared with a fully disposable format.
