With a background in medical laboratory science, she combines scientific knowledge, hands-on aesthetic practice, and beauty entrepreneurship to guide product development and address the needs of melanin-rich skin. Her work spans colour cosmetics and targeted skincare, with particular interests in acne, hyperpigmentation, skin barrier repair, and formulation performance. Through both brands, she champions beauty innovation informed by science and the needs of African consumers.

Studied at Suffolk University and Harvard University in the United States, Dr. Tilaar wanted to highlight the richness of Indonesia’s biodiversity and marine resources. He focuses the Group’s research activities on natural, organic, and halal products to bring the nation’s local heritage to the global market.
