FOR GREEN & ORGANIC CATEGORY WINS LABORATOIRE SCIENCE ET NATURE (France)

Jurors noted that this natural deodorant “successfully tackles the core weakness of the organic deodorant category: efficacy and durability.” The deodorant balm offers proven 48-hour odor control while being composed of 41% organic and 100% natural-origin ingredients. It’s free from essential oils, baking soda, alcohol, and aluminum salts, instead using mineral salts – namely magnesium hydroxide and magnesium carbonate hydroxide

– derived from dead sea minerals to combat odor and absorb moisture, alongside triethyl citrate, a natural-origin deodorant active ingredient that neutralizes odors. One of the jurors described the product as “a high-functioning green innovation that balances purity, practicality, and real efficacy.” The deodorant also contains an upcycled grapefruit extract derived from food waste, that soothes the skin while providing a citrus fragrance. The deodorant has COSMOS Organic certification, is packaged in 100% recycled PP, and is refillable, saving 64% on plastic versus buying a new stick. “A scalable, high-integrity product perfectly positioned for the premium APAC clean beauty space,” one panel member commented.

FOR HAIR PRODUCTS CATEGORY WINS MAKEMAKE Inc. (South Korea)

“Great innovation,” and “a clear breakthrough” were some of the adjectives jurors chose to praise this shampoo, which employs patented Zeodualite™ technology to neutralize over 96% of residual chlorine on hair while protecting the scalp and hair cuticles.

While conventional shampoos only mask odor or dryness, the patented Zeodualite™ technology’s dual-action system combines zeolite, sodium thiosulfate, and vitamin C to adsorb, neutralize, and detoxify chlorine, achieving over 96% removal. Vitamin C also provides antioxidant protection, helping to defend the scalp and hair from chlorine exposure’s oxidative stress. “This is a much-needed innovation for the growing swim care market,” one juror noted. The formula combines safe EWG Green ingredients with amino acid-based surfactants to offer a high performance with low irritation, offering, the panel said, an “excellent balance between performance, safety, and sustainability.” The shampoo is also infused with hyaluronic acid complexes, ceramides, naturally derived oils, keratin, and polyquaternium to restore softness, shine, and manageability.

FOR HOME & PROFESSIONAL DEVICES AND TOOLS CATEGORY WINS FEAGLE CO., LTD (South Korea)

Jurors called out this device’s “good design concept” and “unique positioning” when choosing it as a winner. The Pluna is a hand-held device for use at home, which employs cold plasma technology to weaken the binding proteins that connect skin cells, so that skin can maximize its absorption of active ingredients without stimulation or pain.

The device “successfully miniaturizes professional-grade cold plasma technology for safe home use,” one panel member said. The device’s actions include sterilization to kill bacteria; the promotion of absorption of active ingredients; skin regeneration that induces cell proliferation; and an anti-inflammatory effect that reduces the expression of inflammation with a low temperature of 27 degrees Celsius. The device is used with an accompanying nano-gold gel, a moisturizing gel infused with 24k gold, to enhance the treatment’s benefits. “A beautiful and intelligent plasma device that makes advanced skin care accessible to everyone,” one juror said.

FOR MAKE-UP PRODUCTS CATEGORY WINS SHANGHAI MAOJUE BIOTECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. (China)

This cream’s sensorial feel, refined texture, and focus on post-procedure care all won praise from the jury. The sheer coverage tinted moisturizer is infused with skin care actives to blur, brighten, and revive, and is suitable for caring for skin post-procedure. The formula includes a patented plant stem cell ingredient – Vita Biorhythm – derived from Portulaca grandiflora cell cultures, for the treatment of skin blemishes due to aging.

In tests, an 0.002% concentration of this ingredient was shown to increase MT1 expression by 218%; type I collagen by 24%; and type III collagen by 17%. The ingredient allows the formulation of a product with enhanced efficacy without compromising on its consistency or texture. One juror noted that the product “perfectly capitalizes on the massive Asian trend of routinized aesthetic medicine by offering an effective, safe, and beautiful post-procedure solution.” The product is composed with a smoothing elastomer gel with a unique 3D structure that creates a refreshing and bouncy jelly cream consistency and texture. “Elegant texture, credible science, and a clear consumer story,” added one juror.

FOR PERSONAL CARE & BODY CARE PRODUCTS CATEGORY WINS BELLABACI INTERNATIONAL (South Africa)

The panel liked that this cream “taps into a highly under-served, high-value demographic,” as it targets stress-related discomfort and visible body skin redness associated with menopause and perimenopause. Among the cream’s ingredients are  wild yam extract to support comfort during the menopausal transition, and Neurophroline™ to help reduce the appearance of stress-related dullness.

One juror liked that the cream is an “innovative concept addressing a gap in the market and tapping into [the] neuroscience trend.” The cream’s blend of aromatherapy and homeopathy ingredients is intended to support relaxation without overwhelming the senses, to offer a nighttime self-care ritual. The cream moisturizes deeply overnight; replenishes dry, itchy skin; supports barrier repair for a smoother, more supple feel; helps soothe visible redness and sensitivity; softens the look of crepiness and uneven texture; and leaves skin velvety, non-greasy, and comforted. “The texture and fragrance are lovely and [the cream] contains great active ingredients,” was one panel-member’s verdict.

FOR SKIN CARE PRODUCTS CATEGORY WINS STANDARD SEOUL (South Korea)

The panel loved the “playful” appeal of this serum, formulated with Act Capsule™ balls that each burst upon application to release firming actives, with any burst capsules in the bottle naturally reforming overnight. This mechanism ensures that every use feels fresh, potent, and effective. “[A] super-fun yet effective product. It's playful but the science behind it is real,” said one juror.

The formula – which includes a pink elasticity complex collagen, PDRN, and the Act Capsule™ balls – also incorporates a patented biotechnology-powered fermentation technology that improves the production level of recombinant human collagen in the skin, boosting skin elasticity and firmness. “A brilliant mix of biotech innovation and sensory joy – proves that skin care science can also be emotionally engaging,” noted one panel member. In tests, after four weeks of use pore count decreased by 16.1%; pore depth by 15.2%; outer skin firmness improved by 7.6% and inner skin firmness by 5.0%; and eye-area wrinkles showed a 10.49% improvement. “The clinical results – especially the improvements in pore structure, firmness, and wrinkle reduction – validate [the serum’s] premium positioning,” said one juror.
