IUVER

IUVER MEDICA RX Cream

In this formula, IUVER translates its melatonin-based dermo cosmetic expertise into a formulation conceived for skin stressed by radiotherapy. Instead of addressing dryness alone, the formula’s multi-pathway strategy combines antioxidant support, hydration, lipid replenishment, and barrier care. Melatonin forms the antioxidant core of the formula, complemented by tocopherol, while a lipid system with linolenic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, lecithin, and olive-derived lipids provides emollient and lipid-replenishing care. And betaine, glycerin, propylene glycol, and propanediol provide hydration and skin-conditioning support. The formulation addresses multiple needs associated with radiotherapy-stressed skin, including oxidative stress, dehydration, lipid depletion, barrier impairment, dryness, and discomfort. The cream is currently undergoing a hospital-based clinical trial in the context of radiotherapy-exposed skin, with the goal of bridging advanced dermo cosmetic science with clinical research in supportive oncology skin care.

Product Innovation
RX Cream translates IUVER’s expertise in melatonin-based dermocosmetics into a formulation specifically conceived for radiotherapy-stressed skin. Rather than addressing dryness alone, its multi-pathway strategy combines antioxidant support, hydration, lipid replenishment and barrier care. Melatonin is complemented by essential fatty acids, olive-derived lipids, betaine, glycerin and tocopherol to address multiple needs of highly compromised skin simultaneously. Its innovation extends beyond formulation: RX Cream combines independently demonstrated skin compatibility with an ongoing hospital-based clinical trial, bridging advanced dermocosmetic science with clinical research in supportive oncology skincare.
Research, Clinical Tests & Trials Results (Safety & Dermatological)
Independent Dermatological Safety Study — AITEX IUVER MEDICA RX Cream underwent an independent dermatological safety study conducted by AITEX to evaluate skin compatibility. The formulation was assessed following a single application under an occlusive patch for 48 hours combined with Tape Stripping, a technique described in the study as providing greater sensitivity than a conventional patch test. The assessment was performed under dermatologist supervision. TAPE STRIP SERUM MEDICA 2025lp0… 10 volunteers with sensitive skin, aged 18–65 years, male and female, with Fitzpatrick phototypes I–III, completed the study. TAPE STRIP SERUM MEDICA 2025lp0… All 10 volunteers showed a negative reaction, with no doubtful, weak, strong or extreme reactions recorded. The resulting Irritation Index (IR) was 0.0. TAPE STRIP SERUM MEDICA 2025lp0… Under the AITEX classification system, IR=0 corresponds to NON-IRRITATING and VERY GOOD SKIN COMPATIBILITY. AITEX concluded that the tested formulation demonstrated VERY GOOD SKIN COMPATIBILITY and may carry the claim “dermatologically tested.” TAPE STRIP SERUM MEDICA 2025lp0… TAPE STRIP SERUM MEDICA 2025lp0… Ongoing Clinical Trial RX Cream is currently undergoing a clinical trial at Hospital General Universitario de Valencia in the context of skin exposed to radiotherapy. As the study is ongoing, no preliminary or final efficacy results are claimed at this stage. Top 3 evidence points: - Irritation Index: 0.0 — NON-IRRITATING. - VERY GOOD SKIN COMPATIBILITY in sensitive skin under 48-hour occlusion + Tape Stripping. - Currently undergoing hospital-based clinical evaluation in the context of radiotherapy-exposed skin

Technology Features
RX Cream uses a multi-pathway formulation strategy specifically conceived for radiotherapy-stressed skin. Melatonin forms the antioxidant core of the formula, complemented by tocopherol. A lipid system incorporating linoleic acid, linolenic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, lecithin and olive-derived lipids provides emollient and lipid-replenishing care, while betaine, glycerin, propylene glycol and propanediol provide complementary hydration and skin-conditioning support. Rather than targeting a single manifestation of compromised skin, the formulation addresses multiple dermocosmetic needs associated with radiotherapy-stressed skin, including oxidative stress, dehydration, lipid depletion, barrier impairment, dryness and discomfort. Its technological development extends into clinical research, with RX Cream currently undergoing a hospital-based clinical trial in the context of radiotherapy-exposed skin. Its packaging incorporates recycled and recyclable plastic, a metal-free dispensing valve and recycled cardboard secondary packaging without plastic components
